Have what's needed for presenting tabular resultsSPSS Tables enables you to summarize and communicate results in any tabular form, including complex stub-and-banner tables, contingency tables, and display listing of survey data. This add-on module includes special capabilities for survey analysis, such as layering, nesting, stacking, and multiple response analysis, so you can generate reports on surveys, customer satisfaction, and polling results. For instance, market researchers can condense the results of multiple-response questions, such as answers to "check all that apply," into a single table to make it easy to present this information. SPSS Tables also distinguishes between the different types of missing values, such as "do not know," "didn't answer," "not applicable," "refused to answer," or any other missing value you specify. This enables report readers to see the full picture in regards to the type of responses you receive. Category management capabilities enable you to exclude specific categories, display missing cell values and add subtotals to your table. There are more sorting options in SPSS Tables 13.0 than in SPSS Tables 11.0 and earlier versions. If you update reports on a regular basis, SPSS Tables is the ideal tool to recalculate and reformat new tables with revised data.
Using SPSS Tables, you can work easily with your multiple response data. You can select the percentage to be calculated within respondents as shown here or within responses so the rows and columns add to 100 percent. In this example, it is easy to read across the rows to see of those who flew American, 25 percent also flew JAL, and of those who flew JAL, 75 percent also flew American. You'll find it easy to compress large amounts of data into meaningful reports with the stacking and nesting facilities in SPSS Tables. You can nest variables to any level in all dimensions (rows, columns or layers).
