New Features in O-MATRIX

O-Matrix can now be used as an OLE/COM Automation scripting language. The O-Matrix language has been extended to enable control of applications
that can be accessed as a server. The new automation client functions can pass data to and from Automation servers, call server methods, get and set
server properties, and start and stop any Automation server that is registered on your system.
 The O-Matrix Automation functions
enable you to integrate the high-performance technical computing and analysis capabilities of O-Matrix with other applications: (Examples available in the example\automation directory of the
distribution).
- Integrate with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access, and Word.
- Pass data to and from, and create plots in graphics applications such as SigmaPlot, Surfer, and Origin.
- Control, and obtain results from data acquisition tools such as LabView.
- Add mathematical analysis capabilities to custom, and domain-specific programs.
The O-Matrix Automation functions are designed to simplify and streamline the use of Automation servers.
Passing data to and from and controlling Automation servers is much easier with the O-Matrix client functions
than with Visual Basic, VBA, C++, and other technical computing environments. Operations such as passing
the result of an O-Matrix solution to Excel and creating a plot can typically be performed with just a few statements.
