SPSS Maintenance Agreement for Commercial Version

By signing below, you (hereinafter "Registered User") agree that you are purchasing maintenance for the SPSS Inc. (hereinafter "SPSS") products indicated on the Order Form. The entire agreement between the Registered User and SPSS consists of the SPSS License Agreement included with the SPSS software and this document. Registered User agrees to pay SPSS Inc. within thirty (30) days from the date set forth on the SPSS Inc. invoice.

1. Maintenance
SPSS agrees to provide the Registered User with the following services for the term set forth in Section 2 below: Free upgrades to major releases, when and if developed, of the SPSS software indicated on this Order Form. The Registered User will receive reasonable technical assistance via the telephone (on an 800-number with priority queuing), email and facsimile. The right to transfer your single-user license to a new operating system and/or a multi-user SPSS license and apply a full credit (at current list prices) for the software/SPSS license you have toward the new software/SPSS license.

2. Maintenance Term
For the period of one (1) year from the date the Registered User signs this document, SPSS shall provide the Registered User with all of the services set forth above. For so long as SPSS generally maintains the SPSS software set forth on the Order Form, SPSS will provide the Registered User with the option to renew his/her maintenance on an annual basis at the then current rate. Maintenance is a non-refundable item.
