The Data Visualizer - GUI

The viewer organizes data, plots, and plot attributes into a hierarchy of objects that are displayed in the left pane of the viewer. The following screen shot shows a group DataSets which contain the data objects Palette and Data. Clicking on the Data objects displays the data in a scrollable grid which can be used to edit the data objects for a plot.

Clicking on the edit box in the upper-left corner of the viewer and then selecting the image plot object in the object pane displays the following image. The plot can be scaled and rotated using the mouse and data values from the plot can be queried and displayed in a tooltip menu using the mouse. Clicking on available plot objects in the lower-right pane of the viewer invokes dialogs for interactively modifying plot attributes and characteristics.
