What Biblioscape Can Do for a Corporate Librarian

If you are a corporate librarian and have to support a large number of users for literature searches, Biblioscape can help you tremendously. You have two options for using Biblioscape to distribute bibliographic information:

Option 1: Install the cheaper edition, Biblioscape Lite, on your clients' machines and Biblioscape Pro on your machine. Biblioscape Pro includes a database server (BiblioRemote) which allows your clients to access the bibliographic database on your machine.

Option 2: Install Biblioscape Pro on your machine and let it act as an Intranet server to all other users via their web browsers. Using this solution, you don't even need to install or maintain Biblioscape on your clients' machines. All basic features of a bibliographic software package are delivered through a web browser.

Manage Your Library

The Biblioscape Librarian edition allows you to manage a small library with ease. It is designed for a small library with one or no full time librarian. In a research library, there may be only a small number of books, but a large collection of journals. The Serials sub-module is designed especially for handling journal issues. You can use the Interlibrary Loan sub-module to handle loan requests for your patrons if your library is in a library network, to lend each other books, journal copies, etc. Click the following links to see some screen shots.
